A passion to know God
First, David is said to possess a passion for God. Something happened in the life of David where he encountered the living God in such a way as to ignite in him a desire, or longing to know God.
Walking with God
The longer that I walk with the Lord, the more I realize how little that I know about him, or about life for that matter.
Choice
These two experiences (internal and external) helped me decide that I can believe the Bible.
Do you believe the Bible?
At this point, some may say, Okay, that is crazy—and you would have a good argument—but do you believe the Bible?
Two roads
Jesus said it this way, that there are two roads, a broad highway, and a narrow walking path.
Does God talk to you?
Does God talk to you? Or more correctly, do you hear God talking to you? A close personal relationship with the godhead is learning to “know” the voice of God and understand his heartbeat.
